FBOs & Terminals
Customer areas, ramps and offices under one system.
Hangars, ramps, FBOs and flight departments — surveilled, wired and access-controlled by one Houston team, without getting in the way of operations.
An aircraft is among the highest-value assets a business can park, and the buildings around it — hangars, FBOs, maintenance shops — mix expensive equipment, controlled areas and constant movement of crews, vendors and passengers. That combination needs surveillance that reaches across a ramp, access control that respects secure areas, and connectivity built for large metal buildings. Stratos Group designs and installs all of it for aviation operations across the Houston metro.
Tap the solution you care about to see the detail.
Ramps and hangars are large, and detail falls off with distance on ordinary cameras. We use long-range and PTZ cameras to cover open apron and identify at range, fixed cameras for constant coverage of doors and work areas, and low-light performance for the hours aircraft sit unattended. The result is coverage that actually identifies, not a wide blur of a very expensive space.
WHAT THIS INCLUDES:
Aviation runs on controlled access — airside doors, hangars, parts rooms, offices. We install access control that admits crews and staff to the areas they belong in, logs every entry for the record, and revokes a departed contractor or crew member instantly. Where the operation involves badging and airport security programs, our system supports your procedures rather than fighting them.
WHAT THIS INCLUDES:
Metal hangars are hostile to wireless, and offices, shops and FBO lounges all need reliable connectivity. We run certified structured cabling and design Wi-Fi that actually covers a hangar floor, an office and a customer lounge — with a separate guest network so visitors never touch your business systems.
WHAT THIS INCLUDES:
Scheduling, maintenance records, billing and customer data all live on your network, and a flat, unprotected one is an easy target. We segment the network, harden remote access, protect endpoints and keep tested backups, so an operation that depends on its systems is not one bad click away from a shutdown.
WHAT THIS INCLUDES:
Customer areas, ramps and offices under one system.
Shops, parts rooms and hangars covered and controlled.
Classrooms, offices and flight-line coverage.
Private hangars and the crews that run them.
We assess ramps, hangars, secure areas and connectivity needs — free.
A layout for cameras, access and network, at a fixed price.
We install around your operations and support it going forward.
Yes. We combine long-range and PTZ cameras that identify at distance across the ramp with fixed cameras for constant coverage of doors and work bays, plus low-light performance for overnight. We size the design to your specific facility during the walkthrough.
Metal hangars are hard on wireless, which is exactly why we engineer coverage rather than dropping in a consumer access point. We design for the hangar floor, offices and lounges, with a separate guest network so visitors never reach your business systems.
Yes. Our access control admits the right people to secure areas, logs every entry, and revokes access instantly when crews change. It supports your badging and security procedures rather than replacing them.
Both. We run certified cabling, design the Wi-Fi, secure and segment the network, protect endpoints and keep tested backups — the systems your scheduling, maintenance and billing depend on.
Yes. We plan installation so it does not ground a bay or block a crew, working around your schedule rather than shutting the operation down.
Aviation facilities are not offices with a few cameras. A hangar is a large volume with a very expensive object in the middle, a ramp is open ground where identification at distance matters, and secure areas have real access requirements. A generic camera-and-alarm package does not fit any of that well.
We design for the space: long-range and PTZ cameras where distance is the challenge, fixed cameras where constant coverage matters, low-light performance for the overnight hours, and access control that maps to your actual secure areas. And we work around operations — installation planned so it does not ground a bay or block a crew.
Aviation operations often end up with a camera vendor, a separate cabling contractor, an IT person for the network and someone else for access control. The seams between them are where problems live — a camera that lost its network path, a door controller nobody owns, Wi-Fi that dies at the back of the hangar.
We provide the whole stack: the cameras, the certified cabling that carries them, the Wi-Fi that covers the metal building, the access control on the doors and the network security underneath. One accountable team, one design, and no gap between vendors for something to fall through.
Aviation carries security expectations, and operations that touch airport security or badging have procedures to follow. Our surveillance and access control support those procedures — logged access to controlled areas, retained footage, credentials that map to your policy — and we are clear about the boundary. We are an insured installer and integrator, not your security authority; we build the systems, and your operational and regulatory programs remain yours.
We serve aviation operations across the Houston metro from Katy: Houston, Sugar Land, Cypress, Spring, Pearland, The Woodlands, Conroe and the surrounding general-aviation fields — FBOs, MRO facilities, flight schools and corporate flight departments.

Fernando CamposI recently had a camera system installed at my business by the Stratos Group and I couldn't be happier with the results. The installation team was professional and efficient, ensuring that the cameras were strategically placed to cover all the important areas. They were prompt, responsive, and on time from estimate to delivery. The image and video quality are outstanding, even in low light conditions, and I can easily monitor my property from my smartphone. It has brought me tremendous peace of mind, and I highly recommend this camera system installation service to anyone looking to enhance their commercial security.
